Keep It Safe Philly LLC, located in Upper Darby, PA offers the nationally recognized ServSafe® food safety course and exam certification. We offer in-class training,virtual training, private group and one-on-one training sessions. We will also be offering on-site pre-health inspection consultations starting May, 2024.

The ServSafe® training is approved and accepted for bringing your food establishment into compliance since it’s recognized by more federal, state and local jurisdictions than any other food safety certification.

With ServSafe® training, you will learn:

  • The importance of food safety.
  • Good personal hygiene.
  • Time and temperature control.
  • Preventing cross-contamination.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing.
  • Safe food preparation.
  • Receiving and storing food.
  • Methods of thawing, cooking, cooling and reheating food.

Philadelphia and many other counties require the presence of one Certified Food Protection Manager per location. Although some counties don’t require that person to be present throughout the hours of operation, your local jurisdiction may require it. For instance, Philadelphia county, according to (Philadelphia Code, 6-301.8(a)) and Chester county, according to (Chester County Food Protection Regulations, Ch. 300) state that at no time shall a food service establishment be without a certified manager.
